'Carnivalesque' Poster
Capturing the life and soul of Bristol's Stokes Croft Carnival and distilling it into a poster for this fundraising event was made even more enjoyable by the inclusion of burlesque. Blending carnival themes and the trademark graffiti of Stokes Croft was a very fun challenge, which required some careful colour scheming to pull off.

I will never get tired of designing artwork for cabaret and burlesque events. The combination of elegance and glamour is so much fun to work with, and fitting all the information into the often limited space is a wonderful challenge.

Bristol Film And Media.com
This is the first website I've created to really have the kind of level of responsive design that I'm really happy with. Based on Wordpress, it's a completely scratch-built theme with HTML5 and CSS3 standards.
And besides all that technical jargon, it's a mighty lovely, minimalist site - if I do say so myself!

When I heard that the rather splendid Professor Elemental was coming to Bristol, and I got the opportunity to design the promotional material, I was thrilled to do it! Granted, I was hosting the event, but it was still a pleasure to do the design too.

Simon South Edinburgh Fringe Flyer
Working with interesting branding is always jolly good fun, and working with Simon South was no exception. Using his existing branding as a base I created this double sided flyer to advertise his appearance at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
From all the tales he has told me of the fun he had there, it seemed to be pretty effective!

Creating sites driven by user-submitted content is always a challenge, and there is plenty more that the client and I want to do with this in future to encourgae audience participation. Until now, it shall simply have to make do with being straightforward and lovely looking!

'Cherries On A Cloud Burlesque' RSPCA Fundraiser Flyer
Working the existing branding we'd established with Cherries on a Cloud in with their new charity of choice was splendidly enjoyable, and I think this really captured the fresh, spring look we were going for.

This Wordpress theme uses CSS3 technology to add extra touches to a design that degrades elegantly in older browsers that don't support the newly developing standards.
